When gear is shifted while the air pressure is low, “TM AIR PRESS TOO LOW” or “T/M SYSTEM FAILURE” indications may appear or the gearshift may not operate properly. In addition, if the vehicle is driven when the air pressure is low, equipment other than T/M applying air pressure including brakes may not operate properly and would be very dangerous. Below are representative examples related to low air pressure. Please make use of these examples and check the air pressure gauge in the instrument panel and measure the time of air pressure build-up at all times in your daily operation for your safety and comfort. This kind of information (indications and warning, etc.) are available in your Owners handbook. Important Remarks Please also be reminded that the owner of the truck is fully responsible for proper inspection and maintenance.
